Question 1

Will cleaning the vent fix my dryer?

Accepted Answer

If the issue is airflow, often yes. If the dryer itself has a fault, we'll let you know so an appliance technician can follow up.

Question 2

Do you need access to the roof?

Accepted Answer

If the exhaust is on the roof, yes. Mention whether the roof is tile and how tall the house is.

Question 3

Do I need to be home?

Accepted Answer

Someone should be there to give access to the dryer and the exterior vent. A tenant or family member is fine; let us know who to call.

Question 4

Can you clean a vent in a condo?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We clean vents in condos and townhomes regularly. Let us know about HOA rules, parking and building access when you book.

Question 5

Should I clean the lint screen every load?

Accepted Answer

Yes, that helps, but some lint always gets past the screen and settles in the duct, which is why the vent still needs cleaning.
