Question 1

Is a warm outlet dangerous?

Accepted Answer

It is a warning sign. Unplug everything from it, turn off the breaker if you know which one it is, and book an electrician.

Question 2

Can you add a new outlet or a dedicated circuit?

Accepted Answer

Yes, including dedicated circuits for freezers, spas and workshop tools. The quote is given on site after we check the panel.

Question 3

What are my options for ungrounded two-prong outlets?

Accepted Answer

We can add a grounded circuit, or protect the outlets with GFCIs and label them as ungrounded. The electrician explains which option your wiring supports.

Question 4

How do I find the reset button for a dead outlet?

Accepted Answer

Check the bathrooms, the garage, the kitchen and any outdoor outlets for a GFCI with a reset button. If none of them restores power, the problem is probably a loose connection, and an electrician should trace it.

Question 5

Do you work with landlords and property managers?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We regularly work with tenants, landlords and property managers; just let us know who approves the work.

Question 6

Can you tell me the price over the phone?

Accepted Answer

We give the price after diagnosing the circuit on site. Nothing is done until you approve it.
