Why did I receive a lower repair quote from another company?
Home Alliance makes every effort to offer fair and competitive prices. One common reason that other companies may quote you a lower price is that they are not actually going to complete the repair as recommended by the manufacturer. For example, instead of replacing the entire control board (as many manufacturers recommend) they may want to just replace one damaged component. This may solve the short term problem, but by leaving the old component in place you may be at risk for future problems. You could also be at risk of voiding your warranty protection by not getting the manufacturer recommended repair.
I have this problem. I have a Whirlpool dryer that is not heating. It stopped heating correctly. It is about 20 years old, inside a closet, the dryer and the washer. Can you repair it and take the dryer out?
I spoke with the technician, and he informed me that no one could help out taking out the unit from the closet, so we cannot help you.
I had gotten somebody to come out to troubleshoot my repair. I just wanted to follow up and say that my washer is working, and we no longer need the part. Is it possible to get a refund or a portion of what I paid?
