How to Defrost a Viking Refrigerator?
Power down the refrigerator by disconnecting it from the socket before attempting to defrost the freezer of a Viking appliance. In such a case, flip the circuit breaker off. Remove all the food from the freezer to empty it. To absorb water, place clean rags or towels around the perimeter of the floor of the freezer. Depending on the buildup, you should disconnect it for 24 hours to allow it to thaw. After defrosting, clean the freezer and let it air dry thoroughly. Plugging the refrigerator back in will turn it on. Give the device 24 and 48 hours to cool completely and freeze once again.
