Question 1

Is Home Alliance authorized by Sub-Zero?

Accepted Answer

No. We are independent. Units still covered by the factory warranty should go to the manufacturer.

Question 2

My refrigerator is warm but the freezer is cold. Is that normal?

Accepted Answer

No, but it is a common fault. Many Sub-Zero models use separate cooling for each side, so one side can fail alone.

Question 3

Do you repair Sub-Zero wine storage?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We service wine columns, undercounter wine units and beverage centers.

Question 4

Can a property manager book for an owner?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Give us the on-site contact and access details when you book.

Question 5

How long should a Sub-Zero take to cool after a repair?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the model and how full it is. Your technician will tell you what to expect before leaving.

Question 6

Do you fix Sub-Zero ice makers?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We check the water supply valve, the fill tube, the ice maker module and the freezer temperature, since an ice maker will not cycle if the freezer runs warm.

Question 7

What if my Sub-Zero is making a new noise?

Accepted Answer

Note when it happens and where it seems to come from. A buzzing fan, a knocking compressor and a hissing sound each point to different parts, so those details help us bring the right ones.
