Things like having an interview to attend or important meetings at work can all be pressed for time. Then the chore of dragging out the ironing board, and letting the iron heat up can be a true and utter annoyance. What if I told you there was a faster, more convenient way?
- Towel and Dryer
Get a damp towel or washcloth and put it in an empty dryer with the wrinkled article of clothing. Run it on high heat as the moisture will create and lock in the steam. Causing the fibers to loosen up. Leave on the hanger to completely dry and snug where necessary.
- Hair Dryer
If you’re traveling and limited on options a hair dryer can work miracles believe it or not. Put the wrinkled item on a hanger and carefully wet the affected area. Preferably bottled water as tap water can have trace minerals causing stains to occur.
- Shower
Turn your shower onto the hottest possible setting and hang your clothing on a hanger on the shower rod. Allow the room to fill with steam. After 10-15 min gently stretches in opposite directions to release wrinkles.
- With ice cubes in the dryer
This might seem strange, but it works. Put a wrinkled shirt in the dryer with some ice cubes and run it on high heat for a short while. As the ice melts, wrinkle-removing steam is produced.
