Question 1

Do you repair Miele, Thermador, Sub-Zero, Wolf and Viking appliances in Los Angeles?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Home Alliance repairs Miele, KitchenAid, Thermador, Monogram, Wolf, Viking and Sub-Zero ovens, ranges, refrigerators, freezers, ice makers and dishwashers in homes across Los Angeles. We are an independent repair company, so if your appliance is still under the manufacturer's warranty, check with the manufacturer first. Call (877) 777-0796 or book online.

Question 2

Can I get same-day appliance repair in Los Angeles?

Accepted Answer

Often, yes. Same-day appointments are often available in Los Angeles, especially when you call early in the day. Call (877) 777-0796 or book online and choose a three-hour arrival window. Before the holidays, schedules fill quickly, so book as soon as you notice a problem.

Question 3

Why is my oven not heating up?

Accepted Answer

An oven that won't heat usually has a worn igniter (gas), a burned-out bake element (electric), a faulty temperature sensor or a control problem. First check that it isn't in a lock, delay or Sabbath mode and that a breaker hasn't tripped. If you smell gas, leave the home and call your gas utility or 911. Otherwise, book a technician to test the parts.

Question 4

Why is my Sub-Zero ice maker not working?

Accepted Answer

Most often the ice maker is switched off, the water supply valve is closed or the line is kinked, or the water filter is overdue. Check those, then allow about a day for ice production to restart. If it still makes no ice or leaks, a technician can test the water valve, ice maker and controls.

Question 5

What does F24 mean on a Miele dishwasher?

Accepted Answer

According to Miele, fault F24 means a heating relay contact fault. Miele says this is a technical fault the owner cannot fix, so the dishwasher needs a repair visit. Repeated resets won't solve it. Call (877) 777-0796 or book online to have a technician diagnose it.

Question 6

What does error E15 mean on a Thermador dishwasher?

Accepted Answer

According to Thermador, E15 means the safety switch has detected water in the base of the dishwasher and the leak protection system has activated. Turn off the water supply to the dishwasher and don't start another cycle. A technician needs to find the leak, dry the base and test the unit.

Question 7

Is my Thermador or Monogram appliance still under warranty?

Accepted Answer

Check with the manufacturer first. Have your model and serial number ready and contact Thermador or Monogram directly, because they decide what their warranty covers. If your appliance is out of warranty, Home Alliance can diagnose and repair it. We provide a warranty on installation and repairs.

Question 8

Do I get an estimate before the repair?

Accepted Answer

Yes. After diagnosing the problem, your technician gives you a written estimate before any work begins, so you know the cost up front and can decide whether to go ahead.
