The benefits of bulbs are brought to a more versatile, regulated environment by LED strip lights. Their long, thin design makes them perfect for adding ambient illumination in difficult-to-reach regions. The strips are LED, so you can relax and enjoy the glow knowing they are attractive and energy-efficient.
Hanging LED strip lights with adhesive backing makes it simple to add bright, fashionable flourishes to your bedroom or to give your kitchen a postmodern feel with cabinet-down lighting. The hardest aspect is choosing the best light strips for you from the many possibilities available.

Ready to get started?

Installation of LED strip lights may require the following tools:
  • Measuring tape
  • Scissors
  • Wet cloth
  • Ladder (if installed on the ceiling)
  • Double-sided adhesive (optional)
Start by carefully removing every item from the package, including the LED strip light reel.
The LED strip must then be attached to the connection. Inside the connector, you can see a red and a black cable.
Connect the black wire to the LED strip's "-" connection and the red cable to the "+" terminal.
Simply push the connector's rear edge forward to secure the connection once the wires are correctly joined.
To power the LED strip light, the other side of the connector must be linked to an appropriate driver.

Measurements are taken, and the light strip is tested

Measure the space once you decide where to install your LED strip lights. You can adapt your lights specifically to various lengths because they are adjustable.

Adjust your strip lights

You should buy a strip extension if your installation area is longer than the light strip. Extension strips can be purchased separately.

Clean and dry the surface

Use a moist towel to clean the area and remove any oil or dirt from the surface. The light strip adhesive is very powerful, so it must be remembered that removing it might cause damage to surfaces or walls.

Place your strip lights

Installation is easy after the surface is prepared! Peel the strip light adhesive's backing first. Once the light has securely bonded to the surface, press and hold it there for at least 10 seconds. The pressing and holding motion should be repeated every six inches over the entire length.
You’ve successfully completed the installation of your LED strip lights. Now that you’re a peel-and-stick pro, you may have developed a desire for more DIY lighting installations.
