How to replace the light bulb in Frigidaire side by side refrigerator?
To replace the light bulb in a Frigidaire side-by-side refrigerator, follow these steps:
- Unplug the refrigerator or disconnect it from the power source for safety.
- Locate the light bulb cover or shield inside the refrigerator compartment. It is typically situated near the top or at the back of the compartment.
- Remove the cover or shield by gently pulling it out or unscrewing it, depending on the design.
- Take out the old light bulb by unscrewing it counterclockwise. If the bulb is a push-in type, carefully pull it straight out.
- Install the new light bulb by screwing it in clockwise or pushing it firmly, depending on the bulb type. Make sure it is securely in place. Then, reinstall the light bulb cover or shield.
After replacing the light bulb, plug the refrigerator back in or reconnect it to the power source. The new light bulb should illuminate the refrigerator compartment.

- You fix refrigerators, right? I have this GE refrigerator that's about 10 years old. It's a side-by-side refrigerator. It was working fine. Then we had to do some work with the power coming into the house, and we needed to shut the power off several times and turn it back on again. After it went through that, it won't work anymore. I thought it would be something simple like a circuit breaker or a fuse, but evidently, it wasn't. There isn't any power in the control panel; there's the only power in the light bulbs inside the fridge. Somebody told me it could be the control panel or circuit board at the back.
