What does HSPF mean?
HSPF, which stands for Heating Seasonal Performance Factor, is a number for heaters and furnaces that demonstrates their efficiency, similar to SEER. The system is more effective the higher the score. The British Thermal Unit (BTU) heat output to the number of watt-hours of energy used is measured by the HSPF.
