Why does my water heater seem to work less efficiently in the winter?
When the temperature begins dropping and the winter months are upon us, the water that enters your home is obviously much colder. This causes the hot water in your tank to lose heat when it is mixed with the incoming cold water. Additionally, you may be dealing with a buildup of sediment in your tank that’s hindering your water heater from performing optimally.
