Do you guys check refrigerators to make sure they are working okay? There's a chemical smell coming into my refrigerator, but it's not coming from the freezer. My Hotpoint refrigerator is really old, and I rent, so I'm trying to establish whether or not we need a new refrigerator. Do you know anything about that? Like if it starts to smell? How much would that cost?
We could schedule an appointment to have a technician check it. There is a service call fee for our technician, and it will be waived if you proceed with the repairs. The service call is for our technician to come out, go to your place, and diagnose the problem with the refrigerator. If there's a problem with it that needs repair, we will ask your permission to have it fixed. If you agree, we will fix it, and that fee goes toward the repair cost.
